Mission

Jutland Station – connecting Danes and Internationals through journalism

Who we are

Jutland Station is an online publication originally created by students at the Erasmus Mundus Master’s programme ‘Journalism, Media and Globalization’ at Aarhus University. Jutland Station is run by volunteer journalists and is open to community contributors who want to share their experiences and perspectives about living in Aarhus and around.

What we want to achieve
Through innovative online storytelling, photography, audio and video reporting our mission is to build bridges between the Danes and the international community living in the Jutland region. We want to boost the inter-cultural conversations and improve the mutual understanding.
Jutland Station aims at helping the international community understand the current affairs in Denmark generally and in the Aarhus region specifically. Jutland Station also offers Danes an insightful perspective on the life of both Danes and foreigners residing in the region. All content in Jutland Station is written in English, as for many residents and expats, English is still their stronger language.
