Amazing job opportunity: photo editor wanted

 

Jutland Station is looking for volunteer photo editor to join the new team starting with October 2018.

The volunteer photo editor is expected to be passionate about online photojournalism and reporting on current affairs; to cover various topics related to Aarhus and the Jutland area; to be familiar with the online environment; display good work ethics and be comfortable working in a dynamic team.

What we are looking for in our photo editor:

  • Produce high quality photos
  • Be familiar with uploading photo stories to WordPress
  • Check and edit photos where necessary; ensure a high quality of photography across the website
  • Offer practical advice to her/his colleagues
  • Ensure that photos are delivered to the same deadline as their coinciding written content, in order not to delay publication
  • Manage and upload any photo stories to the website
  • Work closely with the editor in chief, the writers and the pool of contributors
