It was a merry Saturday @ Aarhus’ Santa Fun Run

by Giang Pham

On the first Saturday morning of December, nearly 100 city dwellers gather at the centre of Aarhus for Santa Fun Run Aarhus 2016, an annual charity event held by volunteers from the Aarhus International Rotary Club.

The runners dressed in Santa Claus costumes and marched around two kilometres through main shopping streets in Aarhus, chanting cheerful Christmas songs in English and Danish for two hours.

All profits from the event will be transferred to Fundamentet i Aarhus, an organisation which supports vulnerable young people and helps them with such things as work, education, personal finances and housing.

Here are some fun moments from the event in case you missed it!
